At MOPS, you’ll be welcomed, accepted and inspired to reach your full potential and recognize your influence within your family and the world!
We believe that better moms really do make a better world.
WHAT IS MOPS?
MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers, a program designed to nurture mothers with children from infancy through kindergarten. MOPS is a place where mothers of preschoolers can come and experience authentic community, personal growth, practical help, and spiritual hope.
MOPS IS A PLACE THAT GETS MOMS
We understand your unique needs, challenges and joys in this vital season of early mothering. You will be welcomed in our MOPS group just as you are!
At our MOPS group you will have a chance to socialize with other moms, hear great teaching, have discussion time and participate in creative activities.
We meet in the First Baptist Church activity center from 9:00 am - 11:00 am every other Wednesday through the months of September to May. (However, if local schools are canceled or delayed, MOPS will also be canceled.)
During the 2018 - 2019 year, we will meet on the following days:
Off-site playdates: Oct. 19 and March 29, 2017 br>
The MOPS picnic: Fremont Lake Park on May 24, 2017
Steering meeting dates for 2017 are:
- Oct. 7
- Jan. 13
- Mar. 10
- May 19
MOPS provides quality mothering resources. As part of your MOPS International Membership, you will receive a one-year subscription to MomSense Magazine, weekly Mom-E-Mail messages and other great benefits.
During our MOPS meetings, your children will be cared for in a program called MOPPETS, where they experience love in a nursery or preschool-like setting.
